North of Eden combines photography, poetry and audio to investigate notions of alienation, identity and memory. The project retraces the experiences of a 16-year-old German teenager in the small community of Eden in the Idaho desert.
Photographed in the middle of winter, this film is a poetic exploration of the communities feelings towards the election victory of Donald Trump. Keith and Sharon, key characters in North of Eden, are among those who express their thoughts. The film concludes with a revelation of cattle farmer Keith.
